What could be nicer than strolling the historic streets of Old Town Marblehead in the autumn? While you are there, do not forget to check out the Marblehead Arts Association Artisan Shop. The shop is located on the first floor of the MAA building, the antique Hooper Mansion, 8 Hooper Street, Marblehead, MA; and it is chock full of amazing creations by members of the Marblehead Arts Association.
The shop offers the work of members of the MAA, including my mini paintings of iconic Marblehead places and also matted 11″ x 14″ prints of my larger paintings of the scenic town. Right now there is a display of my autumn scenes of beautiful Marblehead. These make wonderful souvenirs for tourists, little gifts for friends and hosts, or treats for yourself. Other members showcase their talent with exquisite jewelry, hand blown glass, unique hand thrown and hand built ceramics, fiber art, and so many more treasures for you. The shop is a wonderful place to complete your gift shopping while supporting the work of local artists! And while you are visiting the MAA, be sure to tour the upstairs and downstairs galleries of paintings by members. There is always something new on exhibit.
